At our startup, we believe that work-life balance is essential for the well-being and productivity of our employees. Our leave policy is designed to provide flexibility and support for our employees' personal and professional needs.
Vacation Leave: Full-time employees are eligible for 15 days of paid vacation leave per year. Vacation leave can be taken after 6 months of continuous employment, and must be approved in advance by the employee's manager. Unused vacation leave can be carried forward to the following year, but cannot be accumulated beyond 30 days.
Sick Leave: Full-time employees are eligible for 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Sick leave can be taken for personal illness or injury, or to care for a family member. Sick leave must be approved in advance by the employee's manager, and may require a doctor's note or other documentation.
Bereavement Leave: Full-time employees are eligible for up to 5 days of paid bereavement leave to attend the funeral or memorial service of an immediate family member.
Parental Leave: Full-time employees who are new parents (birth or adoption) are eligible for up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave. Employees may use any available vacation or sick leave during this time, or may choose to take additional unpaid leave. Parental leave must be approved in advance by the employee's manager.
Jury Duty Leave: Full-time employees who are called for jury duty are eligible for paid leave for the duration of their service. Employees must provide proof of jury duty service to their manager.
Flexible Work Arrangements: We recognize that employees may have personal or family responsibilities that require flexibility in their work arrangements. We offer flexible work options, such as part-time schedules, telecommuting, or job sharing, on a case-by-case basis. Requests for flexible work arrangements must be approved in advance by the employee's manager.
